Just bought 2016 IV with tech and sport packages. Currently the HUD is displaying eco status. Speed limit and current speed are displayed at times. I'd like to change the HUD to display side collision detection alerts. When I go into HUD setup vehicle settings the only option is navigation guidance. Is there another setup menu that I should be going into to change this? Any guidance here appreciated.
As far as I remember there is no feature to vary what can be displayed in the HUD beyond the factory setting. Congratulations on your purchase.
3 options - 1) SPEED only, 2) SPEED plus Hybrid Indicator, or 3) NOTHING AT ALL. Toggle through them with the HUD button. I've only used 2), and with that, when an alert comes up (lane keeping at least), the Hybrid Indicator disappears to allow the alert. EDIT - I don't have NAVIGATION - if you have that, it could be different.
