First thing I did with my C4 is get HIDs from XenonSupply. Got the 6000K kit and install was a breeze. Second thing is change out all the bulbs into LEDs minus the turn signals, for that I got the Philips Silvervision. I get all my LEDs from V-LEDs since I can just drive there and been using their LEDs since around 2005. Since my HID is 6000K, I decided to get all the LEDs in 6000K to stay uniform. Finally picked up the Foglight LED yesterday since they were out of stock but their new 9005 LED headlight was 5000K instead of 6000K because of a manufacturing issue. So here's the question. If you were me, would you just get the 5000K DRL/high beam LED and keep the rest 5000K or change every LED to 5000K or just wait for a 6000K 9005 LED to get in stock that produces less lumens than the 5000K that I originally pre-ordered? I think it looks silly with the parking light being 6000K and DRL/high beam light being yellow when I switch the DRL on.
i actually like the look of yellow highbeams/drls with yellow fog lights. i personally, like to have different colors. i have 4500k hids with orange leds in the corner lights. i plan on getting fogs and will be putting some yellow 3k bulbs in it. when i do that i will place yellow bulbs in the drl. i also wouldnt put leds in the drl/highbeams.
I personally like to have different colors or as close to OEM as possible... OEM + if you will... I personally am not a fan of DRL's.... 4300 on headlights Silverstar Ultras for fogs or something or other..
I think I'll switch out all my LEDs to 5000K, get 4300K XS HID kit for the fogs and 4300K bulbs to switch out the 6000K. The LED headlight for the DRL/high beams puts out 1800 lumens so it's suitable for highs I believe. The other route is wait for the 6000K LEDs that produce 850 lumens which would be pointless for high beams.
