Each time I begin driving, I hear the loud announcement “Communication module deactivated….” How can I turn off this announcement?
There is a TSB for 2017 - 2019 Primes T-SB-0019-19 Titled: Telematics Data Communication Module (DCM) Activation Procedure After reading some of the TSB I'd think the dealer should be able to fix that message showing up in your 2020 Prime. It looks to me that Techstream is needed to remove that message, if the message shows up on a continuing basis. It's also possible that message due to a subscription service ending, either a free subscription or a paid subscription. suggest to get some pictures of the message
Can't find anything pertinent in the o/m. Just paid $169. for dealer to tighten a ground cable. They want another $169. diagnostic fee to stop this message. Hmm. Maybe I should just live with it. I was hoping it might be something simple.
