I am on a newly-formed committee that our town (Jamestown, RI) established to study the application of wind energy to meeting the needs of our community of 5,800 people. We will be conducting or sponsoring feasibility studies, siting studies, etc. I'm wondering if anyone else on PC has been involved with similar efforts in their community and could give any advice.
I wish I did. That sounds really fun. Let us know how it goes, I'm really curious. Perhaps some of the folks from MN will chime in. I seem to remember hearing about this sort of thing being more common there.
