Hi there, I'm looking to purchase a compact spare wheel for my 2012 iTech, but I couldn't find any specifications in the manual regarding where to get one from or what type/size to get... So: * What type/size of spare compact wheel is correct for my vehicle? AND * Is there a recommended reseller for wheels of this size/type? I'm in Australia, for reference. Thanks, Kyle
i emailed a dealer parts department, and they gave me all the specs and prices. once i had the specs, i found a salvage unit.
The rim part number is 42611-20A50 (Toyota p/n). That's item #4 here: Wheels for 2012 Toyota Prius | Toyota Parts The North American Owner's Manual has this description for the spare tire: Looking on TireRack (North American site), this looks like a good pick: https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Yokohama&tireModel=Y870B&partnum=38MD6YOTEMP&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1=yes A regular valve is all that's needed, and I don't see any weights on mine.
I assume it’s the same in Europe: 4T x 16 is the wheel size and T135/80D16 101M is the tyre. (Source)
