my gen2 Prius compressor goes off after the engine is been driven for some hours. What could be wrong with ac compressor to make it go off itself. I noticed this after been driven for some hours. @bisco . I fix this car myself, I am wondering what could be the problem. I have scanned the compressor but there is no fault code. 2005 Prius in the car
I checked this.... What's the solution? I checked data stream and saw the mg1 and mg2 temperature was at 190
This is a question in the Gen 2 forum about a Gen 2, so no. In the Gen 2 repair manual (more info), the detection condition for B1475 is: The link given in #6 is to a thread about the same code in Gen 3. But in Gen 3 the compressor's power electronics are in the compressor itself, cooled by refrigerant. In Gen 2 those electronics are in the inverter assembly, cooled by the circulating pink stuff.
