We are considering the purchase of a New Prius. My wife drives 80% intown and 20% HWY. We are interested hearing from Prius owners who spend alot of time in town, stop and go traffic.
Rusty, welcome to the site. I drive the vast majority of my miles in town. The Prius is absolutely great for that kind of driving and excels at it.
in town driving is the best, but it depends on the length of your trips. if it's a mile here and a mile there, you'll probably be somewhere in the 40 mpg's. if it's ten miles here and ten there, you could do as well as 60-65 mpg. all the best!
