Console Box Cover for a 2005 Prius

    Hello,

    The cover on my console box on my 2005 Prius has worn out so much that it just hangs off. Is there an easy replacement for it or do I have to purchase a new console box?

    re-covering the console lid is easy. superglue or 3m spray adhesive both will work. use clothes pins or other suitable clips to hold the cover while it dries. I re-glued the cloth cover in my '04, and re-covered the lid in the '05 with leather. if you choose leather, use garment leather because upholstery leather is really too thick and its a pita to get it right. the lid is held together with I believe 6 Phillips screws. take the screws out and the lid comes apart with just a little fiddling. go for it!
