    Highs: Fuel economy, secure handling, hatchback versatility
    Lows: Ride, noise, acceleration, snug interior, rear visibility, cargo space

    2011 Chevrolet Volt
    Volt:
    score:67/100
    Highs: Fuel economy, quiet, instant acceleration in electric mode, crash-test results
    Lows: Visibility, controls, seats only four, brake modulation, narrow driving position, cold weather effects on battery range

    For reference, CR gave the Prius 80/100, the HS250h 83/100, the Fusion 84/100 and the Camry Hybrid 84/100

    I would take the Lexus CT 200h over the Volt. Lexus already has a Prius-based model in their line-up. Nothing against the Volt, but the CT200h is the hands down winner for me.

    so lower the rating, it sells better for Toyota/Lexus hybrids?
