Probably not, I figure, but any chance this is all software and a cruise module from Gen 4 could be used in Gen 3? I would love to get the stop/go that Gen 4 has. I would hate to give up all the cargo volume that Gen 3 has. Putting a Gen 4 DCC in Gen 3 would be the best of both worlds. Impossible, right?
I think it would be impracticable, for many reasons, to use the system from the fourth-generation Prius on an earlier model. Indeed, while we heard from someone trying to add Toyota Safety Sense-P to a 2016 model that didn’t have it, I’m not aware of any reports of success.
