Should I have this looked at? Nothing is leaking... I'm not sure it's even a critical seal for the sunroof...? Also - What can I apply to prevent further damage?
I had the same issue, but got it in to the dealer before 3 years and they replaced it under warranty. It's just for aerodynamics. I'd suggest a very thin application of black RTV from Canadian Tire.
Eep! I'd have that looked at. It doesn't look too bad (but then again, I haven't seen it in person and I'm not a mechanic). Perhaps at least have it documented at the dealer and hopefully it doesn't get worse. Is the car parked outside all the time? Maybe others who keep the car in similar conditions can chime in.
