Has anyone else noticed this interesting numerological coincidence - or is it? "Americans will immediate think of Al Qaeda and point to the hideous numerology as a clue: 9/11 (New York and Washington), 3/11 (Madrid), 7/7 (London), and now 7/11 (Mumbai). Roll sevens and elevens on the dice table and the shooter wins–at least on the first throw. Terrorists use mass murder to create fear and chaos. If the public begins to dread seven and eleven on the calendar, international terrorists will consider that a psychological victory." What do you guys think? Wishes for a good day to all.
Don't forget threes and nines. Plus plenty of people already are afraid of 13. -- It really doesn't matter what the terrorists consider a victory. They are already winning when they've convinced Americans to allow our own government to dismantle the bill of rights. Numerology is silly. Take a few famous peoples' names and you can manipulate them into any number you like. Take a few famous or infamous dates and you can do the same. You could argue that people will be afraid to dial 911 in an emergency because of 9/11. You could use numerology to "prove" that Mother Theresa is the anti-christ or that Jesus was an ice-cream salesman.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(daniel @ Jul 12 2006, 08:06 AM) </div> I recall an article several years ago where the author proved, using numerology, that the bicycle had actually been designed by an ancient Martian civilization. The ratios and differences between various dimensions of a bicycle's components ALL corresponded, to three and four decimal places of precision, to the ratios and differences between various dimensions of Martian geographic features. The article was of course rank satire, but it was every bit as convincing as any other numerological "paper."
