I just received this email response. "The 2010 Toyota Prius will be tested sometime in July, but we do not have a definite test date at this moment. The ratings will be available and posted on the website as soon as the vehicle is crash tested. Thank you for your continued interest in our program. NCAP www.safercar.gov 1-888-DASH-2-DOT"
So does that mean there are people driving cars with questionable safety ratings? (of course I'm kidding)
Don't put too much weight into the results of the NHTSA. The tests are next to worthless and they know it. The department is in the process of changing their criteria and their tests. These tests were first instituted in the 1970s and they've never been changed!!! Next to worthless. Fuller explanation upon request.
