I just love my 2015 C One.... I really didn't want all of the other bells and whistles, but I overlooked getting a cruise control installed. I have read on a couple of sites and blogs that to install the cruise control upgrade on a One is more difficult than a 2,3 or 4 because of having to remove more of the steering wheel covers to attach wires to components there. There is not a video, or any credible instructions on the installation of an aftermarket cruise control SPECIFIC to the One. Has anyone installed an aftermarket cruise control on the One? or had it done professionally? Parts Kit involved? Did the dealer do it for you? and at what price? Problems?
Just had it done last week. I bought the 2015 assuming it had cruise control and realized at the end of the sale it did not. Called the dealer the next day and they said they can do it for $300 out the door since the computer is already setup for it. The steering column already has a plastic part where it installs ready to pop off. they did it in an hour and it works perfect. Wouldn't do it yourself unless you want to void your warranty.....
Thanks for writing back. I had figured there have been several folks who missed that important upgrade. I really didn't need an upgraded stereo. GPS, or individually folding back seats......
