2012 mdl II, having got on the highway for a long period, I got to play with the Cruise Control. Much to my surprise was the very quick acceleration on braking. I was doing maybe 74mph and when traffic stopped real fast, I jump on the brakes and the car jumped from 74 to 77 for a split second, not to mention to an almost lurching affect. I darn near spotted my shorts. Any ways, after that, I checked it a few more times not in traffic, and it does to a rapid acceleration before dropping out..
The brake light switch on the brake lever deactivates CC. On many Prius this switch needs to be adjusted to be more sensitive. It's not hard to do, and instructions can be found on PriusChat. Tom
