Never noticed this display till today after a long downhill drive from Lake Tahoe to Carson City, NV via US -50. I had a 5 minute time frame with no yellow bar for MPG. The period just before and after are the same type driving about 50-55 MPH all downhill. It should be at least 100 MPG but possibly more, yet no indication except 3 Charge car symbols. Can anyone explain why no MPG shown.
Your ICE never turned on in that 5-minute interval. When the ICE isn't running you're actually getting infinite MPG. On the right-side instantaneous/current display this shows as 99 mpg, but if the ICE doesn't run for a full 5-minute interval you see a blank interval. Weird, huh? (computers don't like to divide by zero, it makes them nervous )
