During the tobacco wars, there were glib people who made patently false claims about smoking. During the seat belt wars, there were glib people who made patently false claims about their safety. So over the 2024 thanksgiving, Alabama had 21 fatalities and 10 of them were not wearing seatbelts. I took a course in climate science after getting tired of being a Prius owner accused of being "Green." I'm too cheap to be "Green." So here is another 'skeptic' of renewable energy, solar and wind farms, using cherry picked data to make inaccurate claims. Just another glib speaker trying to fool those less technically adept.. Inside to Prius joke, he is to wind and solar what CNW Marketing was to Prius and Hummer. Bob Wilson
OT again: Inhaling smoke is never a very good idea because fire produces molecules with reactive dangly things. Lungs have large surface area and react disadvantageously with danglies. That said, campfire wood smoke smells nice and I could dare to say why. Leaf smoke is a much different inhalant, as leaves have different chemicals for photosynthesis and other chemicals that deter herbivores. In managing your global risks, this one ought to be 'listed'. Some leaves have nicotine, which does a number on (not only) humans. An early 'industry' thence arose, and a much better monetized industry followed later. But it's not the nicotine that cancers you; it's other leaf chemicals. Industries with good financials have ways of self protection. That's my essay, saying nothing of topic person who might be financially involved in protecting legacy energy industries against modernity. == Prior resistance to seat-belt laws bore me. There is no chemistry there. == GM civilian-market Hummers have higher resale prices than Prius. This points to buyers' goals for dominance; another not-me topic.
I should have been more precise with greater emphasis on the techniques common to misleading propagandists. Also, fact based propagandists. Bob Wilson
