I have a 2013 Toyota Prius C. I made this pet barrier to keep my dog out of the back seat of the car. Its made from high quality furniture grade birch plywood. The net is strong and thick... he broke the original screen out (regular house window screen) on the first day, so I replaced it with this industrial grade stuff. anyway, it fits in with NO screws or anchors. It just clips in under the back seat headrests. So, you can remove it when your puppy grows up (or not) and no harm done. Its a bit dirty/scratched in places from my puppy, but otherwise works great. see photos. Does not interfere with seat belts, except the middle seat (does anybody actually sit in the back middle seat?). Works with car seats as well. I live near Denver, CO. I can ship if you want to pay for shipping. thanks Price $30 Thanks! Lee
Have you thought about making this out of lexan? Would keep the visibility more functional and be just about as sturdy as that stuff is pretty tough.
true. but lexan is pricey. besides, I could basically see nothing due to the headrests anyway, so this did not really block the view much more. We used this for 6 months and now our dog is 100lbs and does not fit thru or need it anymore anyway. It worked great. So, I am passing it along to anybody that might be able to use it. thanks
