Have 2010 prius Head gasket leaking coolant how long do head gasket fix lasts after they are replaced ,if they are good for a while or can go bad again Anyone in dfw wants to work on this issue Found mechanic but trying to do little lower budget as car is old 180k miles. Very few want to do this type of work Anyone can work on this during weekend for extra cash Don't know if it needs to be taken to machine shop Engine running ok except cold start knocking
check with matt at texas hybrids, maybe they can recommend someone. if it's the pistons/rings causing the problem, should last about the same amount of time if done correctly. if it's the egr circuit, could last longer if taken care of properly
