dash cluster 2012 Prius

    While driving along everything on the dash speedo gas gage all black only shift indicator was on, the next morning as I was driveing everything went back to normal is this something everyone or someone has had happen to them

    Do you own a 2012 Prius liftback or a 2012 Prius c. Your profile states liftback but you posted in the Prius c forum.

    Did you somehow rotate the dimmer switch, that can cause the gauges to dim to off and on.

    If you have the liftback and not the Prius C, the speedometer is part of a heads up display. If a piece of paper, business car, etc lays on the dash just in front of the speedo, the display disappears.
