My 2007 Prius is an awesome vehicle. We love it. But lately we've noticed the dashboard display (speed/transmission/fuel indicators) will sometimes not come on with the engine start. We have a dark dashboard. When this happens we notice that the back-up camera will not work as well though the engine, headlights and car overall will drive/function normally. This problem is intermittent but has been occurring more often lately. Any advice before I take it to the dealer??
welcome! start with the 12v health. if that is okay, you may have a bad combo meter, but i'm not sure how the back up cam fits in. maybe a loose wire?
very common issue. You can buy a rebuilt combo meter on ebay for $100 or send yours away a few members repair them also. Use the search forum up top and search: Combo meter.
