So I search, there seem to be multiple thread out there but since it is very important, I hope I can get your SME give me the insight : 1. Disconnect the 12V negative and wait for 30 min. ( airbag ) 2. To run the Viofo dashcam (12V) from windshield, slide wire between windshield and headliner with credit card, correct ? 3. Any detail how to unmount the side plastic cover ? I do know it is tricky ( all Utuber skip over this ). 4. Once it reach the side where the SRD logo is, pop the weather strip and thread the cable -BEHIND- the curtain airbag... try to stay along the existing wire and we are safe ??? 5. it is standard dashcam so I can extend ( tap into ACC fuse ) .... Let me know if I miss anything ?! last thing I want is cause issue with airbag/safety thing.
3) Pull off the black rubber door frame surround (just along the pillar). Now you have access to pull on the plastic pillar trim.
