So my wife needed to look at colleges with my daughter in New England. Don't take the Prius, I said, because the tires need to be replaced and there's bad weather expected in Vermont. I'm a New Englander, she counters, and I know how to drive in bad weather. Next day I get a call from her. Everyone's ok, she said (Thank God) but I'm in a ditch on the side of the highway waiting for the tow truck. I just had no traction, she continued. We agreed she would get towed to a service station where she would swap the tires. Don't get anything until you call me, I pleaded. She agreed. Three hours later I get a call from them on their way to New Hampshire. I got Dayton's she says. I said Daytons, why didn't you call me? There wasn't any cell service there and they wouldn't let me make a long distance call. So I bought these Daytons. Are they any good? she asks. I've never heard of these tires, so I am asking all of you. Do I want to be stuck with these for the next 25K miles?
