Yesterday we went to DC and the pic below is a bunch of folks looking at the one tree in bloom. Today is our warmest day in months, so today is the big first day, in my yard anyways. This is quite late in the season. Much earlier last year.
I went up there this Saturday and they were maybe at 50% max. Crowd were insane though. It always cracks me up when people will wait in line for a hour to get into the Smithsonian metro station but won't walk 2 blocks to L'Enfant plaza.
