Nice condition slapped in a break actuator that she bought and a junkyard with a car that had a hood up been sitting a while might have been a 2006 or seven I was expecting sure enough trouble slap that on new brake fluid barely had to bleed the brakes bled with tech to do the valves in the actuator everything good car breaking perfectly funny thing is though after all this is done didn't have to do the solenoid valve or any of that The car still just at random sitting in the driveway the ABS light comes on the orange for no reason the pump isn't running or anything The cars just sitting there put it in reverse the backup back up a few feet stop The light will go out check the bleed for air again just because there's nothing. Fluid everywhere. So check it again I have no codes in tech nothing is orange but yet the brake light sitting there on I cleared the codes that aren't there just because and then I turn off tech turn it back on re detect the car everything. The brake amber light is still on I think the! Also Scan the car with the cleared tech screen. And still nothing No codes nothing now the light is finally gone off and she's driving but I just think it's interesting that the light will come on and not have a code and I'm using the proper scanner obviously. And she stated to me that she had a 2007 that she's been driving for years that that would happen right regular The The light would come on the brake behavior would not change at all regenerative braking working everything is good and no codes so she never did anything about it they would just go off sometimes come back on nothing in the breaking ever changed no codes nothing she could do nothing any mechanic could do.
So the question is: What could cause the brake light to be on, but not trigger a code in the computers?
Yep I guess that is the question The light is off right now she's driving down the road and everything is hunky-dory but in like both of the cars she's had two generation twos a seven and a 9 9 is current she said this light would come on just the! And the ABS light not the traction control not the red brake light to the left etc and then it random times it would just be off the brake pedal would never change regenerative braking is happening everything seems to be working positively spot on in both of the vehicles but yet the light will just come on All of the wheel sensors and everything seem to be intact I haven't tested each one individually the car's been impeccably maintained every clip and wire guide is intact on both of these vehicles It's kind of uncanny.

Not the VSC though red brake light on the left is out when the parking brake is off and the car is driving and then all of a sudden the brake light will go off stay off a while might come on again today tomorrow next week she said her other generation too did it all the time never a change in breaking but it would do this and no codes ever and I didn't believe and then I saw it today and her 09 with tech connected got the lamps on no codes clear the codes reset tech boot it back up scan the car the brake light still on we've restarted the car bled the brakes numerous times and there's no issue there seemingly went through the steps past didn't have to relearn anything It's just weird that the lights on and now she called me a little while ago and said it's been off for hours.
