(this may belong in off-topic) I was heading straight on a snow filled road and all of a sudden I was turning left I was going at most 40MPH at the time. I went off the road down an embankment and hit a signpost (4x4 wood). Luckily it wasn't a ditch per say, I was able to drive in the field up to the next driveway. The passenger side read door is bent pretty bad, tho it still can be opened. I may get my Prius in 2-3 weeks, now I have to fix this one. I suppose this is better than wrecking my prius 3 weeks after getting it.... Brian
Yes, you're probably right - I've moved it. Sorry to hear about your car - do you neccessarily need to get it fixed? Are you trading in? You never know, the trade in price might not drop as much as it would cost for you to get it fixed and take a hit on your insurance. Just something to think about.
I don't have collision insurance on my car, so I won't be using insurance. I was planning on selling it privately, will get more $ that way. (well, now it may not be so clear cut) Brian
