So what if you've exhausted everything that you could possibly find against the Prius? I mean, we've seen: Prius needs battery replacement every 2 years Prius vs. Sudbury Nickel Mine Prius vs. Hummer in dust-to-dust CWR Marketing Survey M3 is more economical than a Prius An Aveo is better value than a Prius Prius' battery does massive environmental damage b/c it's not recyclable Here's the latest. Metro vs. Prius [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-NvkvHQRKus&feature=related]YouTube - Geo Metro vs. Toyota Prius[/ame] I can't believe he doesn't care about 0-60 times! Maybe it's b/c he's finally found a car that's slower than the Prius (what a surprise. A 6 cylinder Suzuki Verona is slower than a Prius!) and he's using a 2009 model. Plus he's talking about "luxury".
Let them take all the potshots they want. I have what I want, can't imagining anyone wanting his car unless they are broke and have absolutely no other wheels....hell I'd rather bike or walk.
Geo Metro - the perfect car for anyone who wants to drive a cheap 8 - 25 year old car. And isn't concerned with luxury. And doesn't think they could ever get in an accident. And doesn't mind mediocre quality. And likes working on their car constantly. And wants to transplant a Honda engine into their car. Cool, man.
Recently I looked up Chris Demorro and found he is still posting the same nonsense. As Proverbs says, "A fool will not be separated from his folly." This young man should get exactly what he asked for. Bob Wilson
OK, first off, I don't trust anyone that wears sunglasses inside what appears to be a dark room. He is right about one thing though, take care of your machine and it will last. He just addresses himself the wrong way. As someone once said - "better to let people think you are a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt". My opinion of his presentation? FAIL.
I watched twenty seconds and heard the guys speech pattern and knew that he was a moron. I think some people really need to get a life. This schmuck is one of them.
c'mon ... you know he's just crying out for attention. "Look at meeeee ... won't someone Pleeeeez notice me .... Pleeeheeeheeheeez". Perhaps he just needs a nice transitional object. A teddy bear works very well ... at least for me. .
I agree Hill. That guy was pretty pathetic. I hope he has fun with his long hair, no girlfriend, and his "chick magnet" GEO metro. hahahahahahaha! (this thread should be listed under discussion; not "news")
I don't think the Metro is a terrible car. If a new Metro were available nowadays for say $6-7k with a few more safety features, I might consider one (can't be more dangerous than a motorcycle, ehh?)! Granted, with today's safety and emissions standards, building a clean running, 1700lb car for that price might be nearly impossible. If it were only rated at 40 mpg, I imagine it could be hypermiled well into the 50s. Talk about low cost of ownership!
