I’m the new owner of a 2021 Prius Prime LE. I previously owned a couple of Gen-3 plug-in 2015 models, and I was hoping for a smooth upgrade. However, I’ve run into a major A/C-related issue that I haven’t been able to resolve yet. I like the handling and power especially EV full change mode, but is challenging to "survive" without AC in Arizona. I’ve learned the hard way that this specific model is significantly more complex in terms of its A/C system. It uses a heat pump located in an unfortunately low front-right position, and the main AC assembly OEM 8847047021 dealer costs over $3,000. I’m looking for a wiring diagram for connector reaching to 8847047021 and some high-level suggestions for diagnosing the issue. As of now, it appears there’s a leak, and one of the A/C circuits is open. I haven’t attempted to recharge the R-1234yf refrigerant due to the high cost and the risks involved. Also can someone if part 8847047020 Accumulator is interchangeable for 8847047021 ? Thanks so much in advance!
