What was Toyota thinking when they came up with that color green? That has to rank up there with the worst colors off all time.
Bretaz, I am thinking you refer to the Camry hybrid here. That's a very dark forest green, sort of a sparkly avocado. I personally do not like it, but many do! Let us pray it never hits the Prius!
Dianne, Are sales of the Prius up any over the 30 days? Have you seen any shifts in buyer behavior with the gas spike yet? My local dealership usually has aroud 100 prius at any time, but currently only has 44. Wasn't sure if sales are up or maybe just getting less allocated.
My Prius requests have shot thru the roof. I can't get to them fast enough! While I sure hope they keep the low rates and lease terms very low for rate, I don't expect these rates/rebates to get any better. They will drop a lot of perks for 4cyl cars when gas gets this high, and move them to other models where the sales drop such as SUVs and some of the trucks... and perhaps vans.
This is all they are releasing right now. Newsroom : Updated Toyota Statement Regarding Earthquake and Tsunami in Japan / Toyota Bisco, I expect Prius at MSRP soon. At some dealers, over MSRP (not me) ... and it's just going to get worse. But, there are alternatives. What's really going to suck is that plants shutting to repair and reassess = a lack of parts here to build what's assembled here .. that's not a short term issue, per se. Longer term. Later this spring. And, that will hold for pretty much every manufacturer. Even some of the domestics who need parts from Japan. Many audio and NAV systems, etc.

One blowout II deal I have ONE special today to mention. I have a Prius II in black with gray interior that has the ROSEN Nav/bluetooth screen added to it. It was a dealer installed option. I'm not huge fan of the aftermarket NAV systems but this one seems to do a lot of great stuff: bluetooth, NAV, and has the plug in available for the back up camera to be added if you wanted that later. $24,499 for this car <500> rebate = 23,999. Call me, or email me first to make sure I still have it. It's just this ONE car at that pricing.
