I would hope the pre-orders were done long ago given that 0% APY and $500 bonus cash mentioned at BuyAToyota! , at least for Nor Cal (put in 95136 zip code, if it asks).
WOW 55 Base PiPs sitting on the lot taking up space! There should be some crazy discounts on these…$500 is nothing.
Also, PiP has 0% for 60 months + $500 bonus cash for purchase…Prius Liftback doesn't have any special offers for purchasers. So buying a PiP is actually now cheaper than buying a Prius Three after CA+Federal rebates (monthly payment of $467 vs. $478).
Paul, your comment is a little off base here. Having this many here and coming isn't a bad thing... but... First off, I don't have 55 base PHEVs sitting here. It would be nice to have that many right now, with these low rates and great leases, but many of those base cars are in transit to me. The Rav4 EV is arriving shortly, and the FLEET-ONLY iQ EV is too. Those two cars will bring loads of folks into me who may elect to go the safer path and get a hybrid plug-in vs an all EV so it's smart to be prepared ... and I also am pretty certain that no one in the USA has outsold me for PHEVs so it stands to reason that we'd keep a 45-60 day supply of PHEVs here at all times.. and even moreso with the 0 apr and the superb leases. I'd have more if I could!
