I’m finding conflicting information concerning this. My actuators model number is 47270-47030 and I purchased an early 2010 model. Early models seem to be anything made before 07/2010. Yet I’m looking at eBay at used units and there are lots of them listed with this number yet claim they are for later years of production like 2010 to 2016 or even specific years like 2012 to 2016, excluding the first two years of production. If I purchase a unit with the same model number, and assuming it’s actually good, shouldn’t it work? To complicate matters an online seller sells different models for early production cars. At twice the price of those sold for later production cars. Can anyone confirm an identical model number should work with my particular car (assuming it’s actually good). Or did Toyota produce the same model number of actuator that are actually different?
One of the guys with all the number crunching abilities will be a long shortly but I believe there was a change in the run of the Gen 3 for these firewall mounted brake parts from what I understand like the generation 2 you want the latest numbers You don't want what was in your early car you want the newer updated part or at least I would. It's the same thing in some of the generation 2 stuff there are changes and you want to get the later part like if you have an '06 car you get the '09 part that's the latest updated part last of the car of the series generation 2 09. Lot of my '04 and 5 generation 2s have '09 parts on them.
