I have not had a chance to review all the state sales data, but here is one FAQ answer: 2.8 million hybrids (+Plug ins?) registered as of 12/31/2013 >>>So that's about 1.1% of Light Duty Vehicles actually on the road (not to be confused with ~3-4% of sales)
