Can anyone give me a list of the differences between the standard features found in a pkg II vs pkg III. thanks
If you go to the Toyota online website, they have a chart that shows the different models, II, III, IV and V along with the difference in the standard features and the options available for each model.
The II comes with satellite radio capability, the III comes with integrated satellite radio capability. If your II came with XM already working in it, the dealer installed it or they did it while the car was in port as an accessory. So you either paid extra for it and knew it / didn't know it or they just threw it in for free. Basically the II thru V have the XM satellite radio antenna on the roof at the base of the regular antenna but the II does not come standard with the integrated receiver.
Ok, just wanted to clarify that because the OP was wanting the difference between the standard features found in a II vs a III and did not want to confuse the issue. Just wondering, how much did the dealer charge for the package and what else did it include?
I assume you mean rear seat heater ducts and not rear A/C vents which aren't available on any Prius (it's standard on the Camry Hybrid and XLE models). I'm sure the II comes with rear seat heater ducts.
Yes heater ducts but the Toyota site lit I read said this was not available on the II, only the III and above. This was of special note to us because we always carry a passenger back there. Now, the site may have been wrong, I dont know.
okok I trust you. I just find it hard to believe that a modern car doesn't come with rear seat heater ducts (just like finding a car that has no passenger side mirror). In Canada, Toyotas come well equipped (carpet floor mats, wheel locks, mudguards and cargo nets come standard whereas they're all optional in the US where available, depending on model).
You do realise that the US is the cheapest place to buy a car, right? Anywhere else will be more expensive. (Taxes plus more standard equipment)
