Hello there! Anyone have any other ideas for 2012 Prius V. I tried putting several different items, bolt, caribiner, etc in the lock and it doesn't stop the beeping. The car still registers the hatch as being open
If it is like the regular Prius, with the sensing switch in the latch, do this: when the hatch is actually open, you simply push the latch into the state it would be in if it were closed normally. See my post abov That won't work if the switch is elsewhere, more like the other door switches.
