Disable Reverse and Seat Belt Alerts

    Hello. Just bought my first prius last Friday. It is a Gen 3, Prius II and I am so far very pelased with the exception of the reverse alert beep and seatbelt alter beep. If anyone has instructions for disabling this irritating feature, I would appreicate having them. THanks!

    There are many threads on this, just do a search. But the answer to your post is that it can be done but it has to be done at the dealer. Some dealers don't charge and some do, I recommend going to your sales guy and ask for them to do it at nocharge as all it takes is hook up their laptop.
