Anyone come across a disk/DC organizer (in the jewel cases) that fits into the console under the armrest on a 3rd-gen Prius? Most I've seen are the "wallets" where you take disks out of the jewel case and put into sleeves, which I do not care for. The space under the armrest seems ideally sized for just this, but the disks rock from side to side and slide back and forth on turning/stopping/going, etc. so the sound is kind of annoying. I'd like to find something modular I can size into there that the jewel cases slide into and stay put. Sounds old fashioned, I know, but I've searched and search to no avail so far. Hoping at least one other person out there is looking for something similar and came across a solution!
pretty sure the one from the 2011's work. My assumption is because the 2 little tabs that hold it in place are there. I would also guess the MP3 player tray from a 2011 works?
Is this an OEM Toyota part? I could not find anything on the Toyota website. If not, may I ask who makes it and where you got it from? Thanks!
I sure would love to know what you are using. I am Googling and searching Amazon for every combination of "console" "jewel case" "organizer" "shelf" etc. I can think of, and to no avail. I own hundreds and hundreds of music CDs, and only keep a handful at a time in my car, so like to move them in and out every few days, so CD "wallets" and such are a PITA for me, and I'd prefer to just move them jewel case and all.
Are back to your "normal" routine? Sorry to be such a pest, but I would really like to know what you are using for this application!
Wow I have to apologize, My brain was way off. The 2n item I was thinking about as the jewel case was actually the cup holder. I think my brain was mixing her car with a previous car. Regardless I did verify the MP3 tray from her 2011 works in my PiP. Infact I left it in my PiP . The cup holder obviously did not fit.
