Was driving home last night when all the display functions of my '07 stopped working. The display itself was still illuminated, but the energy/economy/outside temperature monitoring went out, along with any audio or climate control from the display. When I got home, I shut the car off, restarted and everything was fine. It seems fine again this morning. I'm assuming that I somehow lost the data link to the display. Has anyone else experienced this and if so, what was the fix?
Sounds like a trip to the dealer is warranted. Some 04 and 05 models had problems with the MFD which required replacement, but I haven't heard of problems after 05. I would get it checked out while under warranty.
