DIY oil change

    Both Synthetic. The 0W20 is what is req'd in your manual anyway...

    0W20 is "recommended", not required.

    I went with M1 0w20 simply because it is a lot thinner than 5w30 Edge.

    But if you read a little further in the manual: "If SAE 0W-20 is not available, SAE 5W-20 may be used. However, it must be replaced with SAE 0W-20 at the next oil change."

    So given the choice, I would only go with 0W-20.

    Yeah, I was going with the second quote. So if you have both available why not go with the 0w20 was my point. Thanks RodjJo.

    I have read it, if it were required, that paragraph would not be there. It appears that many dealers dont read the manual.
