Toyota, totally dropping the ball on their RAV4-ev's ability to directly QUICK charge it's DC traction pack has been cured. Toyota published negative ads damning Plugins because you need "to have 4 hours to kill". Had Toyota done a better job .... and required Tesla (maker of their RAV4-ev guts) to install quick charging capability in their RAV4 plugin in the 1st place - they wouldn't be able to bitch about 4 hour charging. But then, that would steal their thunder ... so in Toyotas thinking ... maybe that was a good thing. Maybe the whole issue with Toyota is dead anyway - since they chose to "re-kill" the electric car. Such a pity. .
