Do Side Mirror Rain Guards Work?

    what exactly would you need them to do that your side mirrors aren't taking care of right now on their own?

    (not being a douche, just looking for honest answers)

    I think the idea is they give a much bigger brow so it blocks rain from hitting them and snow from building up on the bottom edge.

    never had either problem with heated outside mirrors.....i also think they just look plain old ugly
