I've always wanted to ask; do any Prius II models sold in the UK have the TPMS system installed? I'd have thought it would have been standard on the Prius Tspirit series - but clearly, my vehicle doesn't seem to have this installed Huh?
I agree totally with your thoughts about the TPMS, but I do not believe it was even available as a factory extra for the gen2 in the UK. There are after market options available, but this is never quite the same as OEM equipment although probably at 1/10th of the price. I would have liked the availability of the SKS entry system for the gen2, and it seems Toyota listened to it's customers, and fitted it along with heated mirrors to the gen3. John.
