I’m the new owner of a Prime XSE. The only paint protection i have is a 24” clear plastic film on the hood and fenders (and front door cups). So when i wax the car… do i wax the roof?! These new fangled roofs are new to me. Thanks!
What does the manual say? If the manual doesn't mention anything; I would wax or use a Rainx product on it. You want a protective layer up there, so you can easily hose off the bird crap. Kinda, sort-of kidding - but it does make things easier to clean. A waxed car is a lot easier to clean than an unwaxed car - break out the scrub brushes..... Don't ask me how I know
