I have an '06 Gen2 and want to keep it running as long as possible. I thought it looked a bit dorky when I bought it 11-12 years ago (didn't care, bought it purely for economy/reliability) but as time goes on I've come to appreciate it more. I'd go as far as to say a clean Gen2 looks better than all gens of Priuses before and since, including recent years. I understand some people may like the 'aggressive' look of the 2023, but it's a point A to point B-mobile, it's never going to look tough so better to not even try. Also think they're shooting themselves in the foot since the Gen2 dome shape is more comfortable, allows for better visibility, and is handy for cargo and camping. Similarly, I think the late 80s/90s Pickups/Hiluxes are better-looking than anything Toyota (or any other truckmaker) has put out before or since. (youtube.com/watch?v=zvOICY8DIqU)
