Hello All, I am looking to upgrade the front seats of my 2012 Prius, as mine can become uncomfortable whenever driving for multiple hours. I once drove a 2013 Persona edition and found the seats to be much better but sourcing those is difficult not to mention that the colors offered would not match my beige leather interior. That had me thinking that maybe the Lexus HS may be a suitable donor if the skins and cushions are interchangeable. I know an outright seat swap is not feasible due to Lexus' power adjustment vs Prius' manual seats. Has anyone attempted this?
If I were you, I'd first research all the air bag issues as relates to different seats, then find some junk seats at a wrecker and order up new OEM or custom upholstery and that's what will to keep price as low as possible for highest quality possible...
