doing ball joint bushings today 05 277K

    Anybody done this and have some tips? not surprised they went after I replaced the front springs, struts and stabilizer ends. and not surprised both of them went at the same time.

    Pretty sure they are bolted in to the lower control arm so may be able t buy the ball joint separately.
    I have seen very little discussions about ball joints on a g2 so they are very high quality and low failure rate.
    Did they fail catastrophically and the tire collapsed in the tire well?

    no just clanking and visual inspection shows them being worn

    Yeah the pry bar test does not lie. When they fail it's pretty bad as the wheel collapses in the wheel well.
    But no reports of that on this site.
    Toyota parts are very high quality imho. Which is usually why when I replace anything on my 07 I tend to use
    An original Toyota part. So much after market crap now it's all Chinese and all complete crap.
