Door adjar light and master caution light

    09 Prius Touring door ajar light on with master caution on. Unplugged all 5 door switches (no change) plugged them back in one a time and no change. Ran OBD, no DTCs stored???? What?

    Use an ohmmeter to measure resistance across each switch when open and closed. Look for a switch that behaves differently than the others.

    You have probably already found this, but, the master warning light / red triangle of death comes on when the car is in drive and the driver's door (probably others too) is ajar. So, that may well be why there are no codes. It was scary the first time that happened till I realised why!

    This gave me heart failure the first time also.....:)
