I am just finishing my first month of '08 Prius ownership. I appreciate all the good info in these forums. Lots of good tips - especially the tip on not letting your gas tank run too low and not topping off on refill. I have one question at this time. My excellent Prius sometimes locks the doors when I leave it parked. I have no idea of the circumstances of why this happens. It is only mildly annoying in that I like the doors to be open when I park it in the garage (which is every night) but sometimes find them locked when I go into the garage in the AM. I have the base model. Thanks for any light you can shed on this peculiar phenomenon. Bob
If the doors are locked and you unlock them with the key fob, but don't open a door, the doors will automatically lock again after a period of time (something like 20 seconds). Perhaps you have unintentionally hit the lock or unlock buttons on the fob and that is why you find it locked later.
