Driver personal/interior lights problem at startup

    I know this is a small issue compared to the brake one but I just wanted to know if this is just a problem on my prius or on a larger scale:

    Sometimes, when I unlock the door and enter my car, (After the inside lights turn on) I press the start button but the light inside my prius stays on . I have to manually press on it to switch it off. (I believe only the driver's side)
    At first I thought I somehow left it on when I left the car but it has happened several times and am not sure what to think.
    If I bring it to the shop, it will probably work correctly since it only happens once in a while.
    anybody else experienced that?

    Yes. I can say that sometimes the light stays on. I had this happen in my other non-toyota with push on lights too. Honestly, I think I must bump the light somehow or other when I get into the car. Perhaps I tap it with my purse? I don't know it is a mystery.

    maybe that's the case, I will see next time it happens...
