I replaced my standard parking lights with LEDs. The passenger side was a snap and super easy took all of a minute. The driver's side wasn't so. It was easy to get out and replaced the bulb with the same type as the passenger, however I can't get the bloody thing to lock in the hole.

Has anyone had this issue or know a trick to this? I took out the LED and put the old bulb back in thinking maybe that side was a little different. It still wouldn't lock. It goes into the hole just fine. The connector looks good so I'm not sure what the issue is?

I just did my parking lamps today- new LEDs to match the 4.3K HID's.
The connector has 4 tabs- three are large, one is small. The housing will only accept the connector when it's oriented correctly. So you have a 1-in-4 chance of lining up the connector on the first shot- I just kept rotating my connector 90 degrees clockwise each attempt till the small tab on the connector finally lined up with the small slot on the housing (it took me 3 tries BTW on the drivers side).
