Hey, im just wondering, have anyone changed the preference on the headlights at day thingy so it only turns on at night and not day? says in my instruction book that i can turn off "driving lights at day", then my question is, when u turn that off, so they don`t turn on, is that all the lights? like, front lights, parking lights, rear lights?, like everything? i wanna install some DRL`s in my Prius and found some that fits perfectly. But they're not allowed to be on when any other lights in the front is on.

I would suggest that you first check to be sure that a DRL "feature" can't be activated to save you all that money and trouble.

That exact same car might also be sold in markets where DRLs are required.

Almost all OEM DRLs are the standard headlights turned on at reduced intensity.

this is a European car, DRL was not even legal in Norway in 2011 when this car built, only 2012 priuses and up got that. Its apparently a big difference in the European and american versions. On the light stock when it says "auto" only controls that the lights turn off when the car turns off and that the high beam doesnt turn on when its day. Also, the headlights is always on on this car, and i want that off so i can use DRL`s instead, If i can get the lights so they turn off at day and turn on a night its a easy mod to install DRL`s and stuff.
    Thanks for ur reply!
